Paint Testing, paint adhesion testing, paint peel test

Physical Properties of Paint:

  •  If too thick other problems such as incomplete curing, cracking, or weak adhesion can occur. Coating thickness of paint is important because if it is too thin.

Chemical Analysis of Paint:

  •  It is common for the inorganic colorants, flame retardants.Inorganic fillers can be identified using EDS Analysis.

Accelerated Aging of Paint:

  • After exposure provide a good way to quantify the degree of weathering.

Electrical Testing of Paint:

  •  Surface resistivity  is used to ensure that paint conducts enough electricity to help dissipate and avoid static charge. Dielectric strength  of paint when the paint is to serve as an insulator against electrical current.
