Painting in cold weather during winter is sometimes unavoidable. Many home builders and remodelers try to get everything done but sometime timing is just not right. It is important to understand how really low temperatures can effect paint application. characteristics and performance of the paint. Cold weather effects painting because oil paints are based on natural oils and resins that at low temperatures. How it changes the drying pattern,  So when painting in cold weather will  become very thick or semi-solid that might require excessive thinning.
                            
Temperature  are known to effect paint , so paint architectural metal in cold weather.moisture are also known to effect on the paint application . Recoating metal work in interiors is best done during the winter when inclement weather will have no effect on projects as it does on exterior work.
