- Some states allow you to recycle dried latex.
- Protect the paint from frost and extreme temperatures as these can damage the paint.
- For small amounts of leftover paint, remove the lid and let the pain dry in the can.
- Pour one-inch layers of paint into a cardboard box lined with plastic.
- When opening lids do so carefully to avoid damaging the can sealing ring.
